so i have been using the ISLC for a bit now and it seems that everytime that I try to play a game (f.e BFV) my computer suddenly crashes and my PC starts to reboot itself. Any tips on how to fix this ?
Hi there, I have observed this same behavior. I have not researched the root cause yet, but it seems to occur in very high memory usage scenarios (ex. standby/working set clears with <2 GB memory free, which is then consumed by memory intensive applications like a game). Adjusting the page file size does not seem to matter in this case, and it is not a fault of overclocking or running XMP, etc. Perhaps adjusting the parameters of ISLC would help, but I have not tested yet and I'm not sure it would help the issue anyways.

Try running a utility that will display your memory usage and keep your eyes on it while gaming and such, and see if you crash when approaching your RAM's capacity. It is a fairly reproducible issue so for now, I have simply opted to not run ISLC in such scenarios.

Hello,

After doing the listed commands in the FAQ and checked that all the counters are "enabled", I still get this error message :

Image

Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks

Hi,
Sadly for this one, the only known solution is to reinstall your Windows. Something is broken with your system counter,

Closing ISLC fixes the problem.
I was able to install it with ISLC running.
I will need more details and the error that you got.

Also I can't run it as i don't have a Ryzen. But was still able to have install it with ISLC running.
No issues here running it with ISLC enabled
