Can't run islc after latest windows update

Post by Sunirban »

after the windows update https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/hel ... -framework islc is not running. I tried the command prompt commands given to built performance counters; still nothing. Nothing opens, I even checked the task manager.

HI, can you check in the windows event log, in the application tab, if there is any mention of ISLC crashing there?

Re: Can't run islc after latest windows update

Post by Wagnard »

According to what I see, it is as if ISLC can't find the .config file.
Try redownloading ISLC and extract it in a new folder and try again.
Also, I can see that you have renamed the executable. This can cause this issue too.

The files seems ok. I can see the directories is kinda long with space and special character, try to run ISLC from /desktop/islc/

Also could you show me what is inside the .config file?

Edit: Try this version too: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ISLC%20v1.0.2.3.exe

If it start, check if it throw an error message when you exit. (it is possible a message will be located in the event viewer too.)
