Problem after running DDU.

So I ran DDU to uninstall my current Nvidia drivers. After rebooting, I tried reinstalling the current NVIDIA drivers for my GPU (RTX 2060), only for it to come up with the “Installation Failed!” error. I checked Device Manager and there were three devices with the yellow warning signs on them:

Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus
PCI Device
Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

I tried reinstalling the drivers for them, but Windows wouldn’t let me, saying that it encountered a problem installing the drivers. Any help guys?

Hi,
First I would need the DDU log located within the DDU folders so I can check if something went wrong with DDU or if you had the problem prior using DDU.

Ok, I've checked the log.
There is a few things I saw.
-First, DDU was not run in safe mode. This is a requirement for a complete cleanup. If you need help on how to go into safe mode you can check this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwIOazT1BxU )
-I recommended using the latest DDU this time 18.0.1.5
-DDU seems to have done what is must do correctly but it encountered some permissions error on some registry keys. Try the latest DDU in safe mode to see if it can fix theses. If it doesn't work, I can manually do it for you if necessary.

So Try in safe mode with latest version and send me the new logs.

OK, similar error on some registry key. If you want, we can do a teamviewer session and try to fix theses.

Solved: Just updated Windows to its latest version.
