Right way to switch cards running Windows 10?

Post by Jaffi »

I greet you!

I am going to switch from a 280X to a 390X today (running W10 x64) and I would like to know the right way to do it, because reading this scared me a little bit!
My plan would be to uninstall crimson drivers, boot into safe mode, run latest DDU, shut down, switch cards, boot and install crimson drivers again. Would that work out?

Yes,
You can even bypass the "Uninstall of the crimson driver" and go directly into safemode and run the latest DDU. DDU will take care of everything.
