Just to add to this one this release of DDU the reboot to safe mode option doesn't work fully. It reboots the computer but windows just boots normally and DDU runs and complains about not being in safe mode again. Selecting safe mode boot at that point just performs the same loop. It exits just fine if you like so it isn't a huge deal. Selecting safe mode reboot and hitting F8 on boot and manually selecting safe mode makes the process work as it should.
Do you have a logs to share and also what is your operating system?

If you have prevent download of drivers from windows update enabled, and then go on to DDU wipe and clean install DCH Nvidia drivers, they do not automatically download and install the Nvidia Control panel from the Windows Store as they otherwise would. So perhaps there should be a warning note about this, as it's a clear difference from the Standard driver behaviour which might leave people feeling a little lost without any controls.

Yeah thank's for the tip. Still evaluating if I should remove this option altogether and simply ask user to disconnect their internet.

Nooo it's a great option, I find it invaluable, please don't remove it :)
