Removing Vulkan runtime

Post by kevindd992002 »

The default of this new options is unchecked. What do you mean by "not recommended when running 2 different GPU's that can run Vulkan runtime"? Is running 2 GTX 670's in SLI considered "2 different GPU's"? And why is it not recommended to check this if you're uninstalling the existing (older) Nvidia driver and installing the newer version afterwards? Won't it just get reinstalled or something?

I shoudl have said 2 Brand. Amd / nvidia.

The reason is if you uninstall the nvidia driver and its run time, than AMD will have its run time removed too.
Since you have 2 nvidia card, you can remove it.

Gotcha, thanks!

Another minor question though. Doxyou have to uninstall MSI Afterburner and revert any OCs when upgrading the NVIDIA driver?
