So..........used DDU on my z97 Core I7 4790K 970 GTX system Win 10 Home 64, after problems with Dirt Rally, It removed everything, seemingly, so AOK there. But...If I now run the Nvidia installer it says it can't find hardware!!

Just now, after about 5 minutes since rebooting from SafeMode and using DDU, Device Manager, which was sitting open, flashed and turned Display Adapter from something Generic, to NVIDIA GeForce GTX970. I tried running the NVIDIA installer again, but got some error. Maybe a couple more reboots are in order, but for now, I can't reinstall NVIDIA drivers!!

Tips? Get me fixed and loot is on the way thru the PayPal wire!!

I'll assist you via teamviewer.
Email me the ID and password and we will sort this out.

Also, send me your DDU logs.

Emailed my log file. Not sure about the teamviewer id and password. I don't have Teamviewer installed if that's what you mean.

Just a follow up for anyone reading this. This guy got me sorted via Teamviewer within minutes of me posting here. This is good software and a great guy.

Thanks a lot for the help finding my real issue was my computer's power settings and not video drivers after all.

I am having the same problem! I used DDU on my Dell Inspiron 7000 series with an Nvidia Geforce GTX 960m and now I can't find my drivers and it continues to say it's not detecting any drivers. Please help!

I guess I don't understand what you mean by "now I can't find my drivers".

You uninstalled the drivers with DDU, so you won't find them! You'll need to reinstall the drivers.

Of course, it might depend on how you used DDU, safe mode or normal, and if you let DDU turn off Windows automatically installing new drivers. If you didn't do that, Windows Update might install the Windows driver for your video. Normally, that's not an issue, install the Nvidia driver from a download and you should be good.

Of course, I might misunderstand completely!!!

So I've run a command prompt to view my hidden drivers because that was my problem in the past, but in this case when I try to view my Nvidia driver it's not even there. Not even with the yellow triangle or exclamation mark in my device manager. I used DDU in safe mode, rebooted the comp, and the driver was gone completely. Headed to the website to get the latest download of Nvidia in which case I hit install, and mid-detect it stops and tells me that it cannot find compatible graphics card software in order to install the drivers. So now I can't find my drivers and I cant reinstall Nvidia.

E-mail me a TeamViewer id and password so I can check your issue.
