Hello Wagnard, do you mind by helping me out also? I have TeamViewer and I cannot get Nvidia drivers to install properly after using DDU. I'm having the same problem. After DDU the GPU remains hidden in device manager and is not detected by Nvidia installer... What is the fix? 
Already tried updating driver though device manager and nothing changes. Originally used DDU due to BSOD (Driver power state failure) which was prventing me from installing new driver directly.
Edit:
I've tried unninstaling though the device manager and now it's gone even from hidden devices. Opened the laptop and tried reseating the gpu, still no sign of life.
