Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) V17.0.6.5 Released.

Post by Wagnard »

Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) V17.0.6.5 Released.

ChangeLog:

-Higher timeout for checking new updates + added warnings.
-Prevent DDU to abruptly stop cleaning when the 'Task Scheduler' service is disabled
-Do not check for updates if we are in safemode (without networking)
-French and Ukrainian translation update.

SHA1: CCA5FC3BC712C87947CC5E7ADAB12C451D95CFBD

Recommended usage:
-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
-Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
-It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.

Note: If you have issues for downloading the file, it could be one of your extension interfering with our hotlink protection.

Official Download Here
If you wish to help DDU, you can make a Donation.

Here is an interesting application from 1 of my partner. It is a useful tool that may help you update outdated drivers.

If some of you get an error on the french.xml language, just download this version again, I have fixed it.

Thank you as always, Wagnard! ;)

I've just realized that I need to adapt my translation for the new language scheme. The xml files are different from the English version to the Spanish (Spain) I've been working on for quite some time now. This would explain why I hadn't noticed any new labels I needed to translate for soooo long. My bad  . I'll try to get to it this very week 8-)

Cheers!

Haha, yeah I havent seen you around lately. Good to have you back ;)
It's true that it isn't very clear that we must check the changes based on the English.xml.
I never really update the other ones.
Thanks for your time on this ;)

Thanks, mate! It's definitely good to be back. Been busy with exams (actually, English exams  )
Yeah, it's gonna take me some time to adapt my translation, but it'll be done by the weekend at the latest ;)

See you around here, mate! :D

PS You've got an e-mail!
