Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) V17.0.7.6 Released.

Requirement:
-Windows XP up to Windows 10 Creator update 1703 (anything higher is at your own risk)
-NVIDIA, AMD, Intel GPUs
-Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or higher

ChangeLog:

-Fixed DDU not always detecting 64bit system resulting in a crash when cleaning.
-Fixed a bug with the DDU roaming config file.
-Fixed an issue when there is no Prefetch folder.

Known issues:
-Issue: The Task scheduler cleanup of DDU is not working in safe mode with Windows 10 Creator update 1709(16299.xx).
We are trying to find a solution.

Workaround: do a cleanup in Normal mode after the one you did in safe mode.

Recommended usage:
-You should disconnect your internet or block Windows Updates.
-DDU should be used when having a problem uninstalling / installing a driver or when switching GPU brand.
-DDU should not be used every time you install a new driver unless you know what you are doing.
-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
-If you are using DDU in normal mode, Clean, reboot, clean again, reboot.
-Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
-It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.

Is this version safe to use with W10 Fall Creators Update or should I play it safe and wait for a new version of DDU? If I should wait, any idea when I could expect it to come out?

It is safe, I tried it a few time already with no critical issues.
Of course, always have a backup or a restore point nearby just in case.

The only known issue at the moment is that DDU cant clean the Task Scheduler when it is run in safe mode.
We are trying to see what we can do about this as it seem Microsoft changed something on that.
