I recently upgraded my computer by replacing the Nvidia 740 graphics card with a 1050 Ti. Following the recommendation, I installed the driver from the official GeForce website. Initially, the new card worked fine, but after a day, I started encountering issues such as the screen going black, and eventually, the computer only displayed a black screen upon turning on. Initially, I suspected it might be a power supply problem, but after consulting with the folks at Microcenter, they believed that my current power supply should be sufficient for the new graphics card. As a next step, I contacted Nvidia customer service, who advised me to reinstall the 740 card and its respective driver.
