A problem occurred in one of the modules... Log attached

Post by dayglovinyl »

Hi,
OS: Windows Server 2016
GPU: Vega64
Drivers which are required to be removed: 17.10.1-Oct6
Running within Xen Virtual Machine

Driver installation crashes half way through, so want to clean things out for retry.
This is in safe mode.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks,. I will look at this soon and answer back.

Edit: issue happens because you are missing the "prefetch" folder inside your windows directory.
An update to prevent DDU crashing when this happens is already in place for the next version.
In the meantime, you can just create an empty prefetch folder like this c:\windows\prefetch
