Issue with task scheduler

Post by boomstick45 »

This program is a life saver and It works like a charm but, when I set it up in task scheduler to launch at startup it works but I am unable to access it to alter settings, all it says is ISLC is already running. Only one instance of this application is allowed. There is an option to alter how many instances you can run at any given time but would opening another instance and altering the setting work for both.
Thanks

Only 1 instance is allowed, you cannot open another one.
Have you check if you have ticked the run with highest privilege for your task?
If so, normally you should have a tray icon near the date.

Hi thanks for the reply, yes I have checked the box, also I can see ISLC running in background processes so it is working, I just have no icon in the task bar?

In task scheduler did you set it to run on user logon?

Sadly , I don't know why it does this on your end and not on mine.

Got a workaround, in task scheduler, set a delay for this task to start after 30 seconds after you log-on.
