My nvidia card wont install drivers after using ddu.

Post by TheEpicBean »

I installed ddu to fix my cards problems.(650TI BOOST) and now I cant install the drivers and it doesn't show in device manager so, I don't know what to do. I followed all the steps and booted into safe mode but... NOTHING, I can hear the fans so its getting power but that is about it. If you could help that would be awesome I truly need it.

While I dont see it on your screenshot, is there any device (probably under system) that have an exclamation mark?

I suggest that you remove and re-insert the card physically as its as windows doesn't see it at all. Also plus your monitor directly into it, you seem plugged into the Intel card atm.

That's the issue though, i have done that for many times and plugged it into the GPU and even changed the bios settings to have the PCIE 1 slot the main one. But there is just that dark empty void of black as I connect my HDMI into it.

Was it also black before you used DDU with the HDMI in it?

No, it was working fine before ddu. then the GPU got slower and started to freeze. but would show stuff on the hdmi.

So it was working a little after a DDU use.

Honestly it sound like a hardware failure. A card slowly dying.
