I am having a similar issue as the other guy.
Trying things as I type this.


OS: Windows 7 For me
Version 6.1 Service Pack 1
latest windows 7 updates.

Cannot get passed the log in screen (Will reset computer before I can get to finish password or sooner).

How I got there:
Was trying following directions by this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtHzoo4LWiI
Was not in safe mode, misunderstood what he was saying I believe.
Selected Recommended settings and clicked whatever started the program.


I Tried:
I tried to Restore computer from when the DDU made a restore point and from a restore point before that one.
Memory Diagnostics
StartUp repair
Debug menu same results as before

Alright. I actually made it passed the Login Screen and it hasn't reset on me.
Sort of writing this by memory and as I work on my computer with this issue, so what I say is filled with holes.

My OS: Windows 7 (6.1) Build 7601: Service Pack 1

When turning on the computer, Keep pressing F8 (might be different button for other computers) until a menu comes up.
This menu should have stuff listed like:
Repair computer
Start Normally
Safe Mode

(more than that and not that order)

Select an option that is like (if available): "Start with last successful boot"

In Safe Mode now.
Running DDU.
Running the "Clean and restart"

I suppose that did it for me.
A nonopening Nvidia Control Panel is removed as intended purpose.
I hope my input helped out with Drejk's issue (probably resolved by now) and thank you Wagnard.
