For the users interested, it seem that the issue is related when the DDU folder doesn't have the default permissions made by windows (Administrator group/ current users / System)...
So there is typically 2 issues here.
1- Users issue as this is abnormal and need to be addressed.
2- DDU should try to give an error message or generate a log instead of being silenced.
