Thanks, man! :D

Among the changelog list, I admit that the "Added a way to prevent black screen at logon after rebooting from a cleanup in safemode" is going to save you from a lot of people's complaints

Yeah I was irritated by this myself.
But strangely, I didn't receive a lot of complaints about this...

Well, I remember having advised some guys about it here and over at Guru3D.

Besides there's this: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/vie ... 5&t=13#p61

I'm not so sure a lot of people have actually read it, though :P

Hey Wagnard, is there any way DDU could clean out or at least "reset" the G-Sync module to prevent these issues? Apparently data is saved in them which I'm guessing was corrupted with 358.50.

New user here. Issue. I run Norton Internet Security on my system (got a killer deal for a year, what can I say) and when I download DDU it automatically marks it and deletes the file before I can tell it NO. Any clues?

Some anti-virus give a warning with their heuristic scanner.
I guess you get the ws.reputation alert?

To avoid this just disable the anti-virus until you have finished with DDU or add it to the trust list.

Nah, I don't really know how to directly talk to the gsync module.
Sorry

Sorry
Could it be possible that remnants of Gsync is in AppData of user's profile on Win 7 and above? Sometimes explorer.exe gets in the way and messes up during cleanup, which is why I close explorer.exe to get rid off any locks if any.
