I used DDU mindlessly(without safemode, no restoration point) to clean install AMD Radeon drivers. But, somehow I cannot install them back properly. My Standard VGA Graphic Adapter overrided the Display Adapter. Even I managed to install AMD drivers, VGA still there, no changes to Display Adapter.

Also, it seems like my laptop cannot detect my AMD graphic cards anymore. Didn't show in DxDiag, replaced by VGA too. Did I mess up? Is there a way to fix it, or it's a permanent/ physical damage to my graphic cards/GPU ?

HP Laptop/ Core i7/ 2.10GHz/ 4GB RAM/ 64-bit Operating System

Previous Working Driver : Intel HD 4000 & AMD Radeon HD 7670M

Why I decided to clean install my previous AMD Radeon driver, because the AMD Catalyst isn't working right with it. My games are using Intel HD 4000 as GPU instead of Radeon.
Hi, it is normal after a DDU run that the display adapter goes back the standard VGA.
What is not normal is that you cannot install your new driver. For helping you find out why your computer refuse, you will have to send me the DDU logs.
You can send them at [email protected]
