Need opinions, RX 6800 (non-xt) or RTX 3080?

Hi all, I've just received my EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra after a 6 month backorder. I'm pretty stoked that I got it for as cheap a price as I did (~$1450 AUD), but I also managed to get an MSI gaming RX 6800 (non-xt) at the start of the year that has been working great for me.

Now I'm really not sure whether I want to keep the 3080 and sell the RX 6800 or vice versa. I'm looking for opinions on how the current RDNA 2 vs Ampere debate has changed since launch and which GPU you guys would prefer personally. My personal concerns are the 10gb VRAM on the 3080 compared to the 16gb on the RX 6800, nobody knows for certain but my guess is that when RDNA3 / Nvidia's 4000 series comes out next year, they'll likely have at least 16gb VRAM and VRAM usage in games will be allowed to increase, potentially gimping the 3080.

Any opinions are welcome :)

Super late reply. I was planning to buy those one of the two cards. But because they keep going out of stock and price is over price. Higher than MSRP. Me and my bro will be waiting for the next gen. Funny thing, My bro is interested in RTX 4090. But I am interested in RX 7900. lol.
