I think I broke something with DDU

I was attempting to use DDU to fix some driver issues with an RX 570 so after trying all the other option and them not helping i went for the option named,
"Remove the driver/filter AMDKMPFD (A backup is recommended for the AMD chipset)"
and then after putting my gpu back in since i was using my cpus graphics nothing happened, the fans didnt spin at all and the bios reverted to my cpu graphics. Its not visible in device manager or when installing drivers, did it remove a pci driver of some sort?

If you are curious on what the original issue with the card was there was driver timeouts, black screens, not even giving a display signal upon startup, all the things you want to see when getting a nice graphics card.

Edit: I thought where DDU said "the amd chipset" was the chipset software that can be downloaded from their website so i assumed it could be reinstalled in case something like this happened

Sorry If I did not answer directly, not my intention to ghost or anything. Have you tried a different card since you refunded your old card ? Was the card the issue ?

I have gotten a new card so everythings fine there, went for gtx 1650. Im not sure exactly what the problem was with the 570 but i took it back to the shop i got it from, they tested it and had the same issue so i got a refund for it. The only thing im still curious about is when i used ddu with the 570 the pc stopped registering the card even existing in bios and device manager, would this happen with other amd gpus. I have quite a big log folder so which files do i need?

It's probably just a coincidence, DDU does not interract directly with hardware. The card simply died at the same moment of using DDU.
DDu only removes files /registry stuff, it canot physically break something. Worse that could happen is a corrupt windows installation. But the card would still work and you would still be able to go into the bios etc..
