Wagnardsoft Tools (WTools) V1.0.2.4 Released.



Requirement:
-Windows 7* SP1+
* Windows 7 SP1 is supported with Extended Security Updates installed.

What is WTools:
- Cleans unused Registry keys.
- Removes temporary Files from Windows, Current user and Browsers to free some disk space.
- Repairs Windows corrupted system files.
- Enables / Disables MSI (Message Signaled Interrupts) for Nvidia cards pre RTX3xxx (will support all PCI devices in a future update)
- SSD Trimming with custom size.
- Opens a command prompt (CMD.exe) and REGEDIT with SYSTEM privilege for advanced file / registry manipulations.

Use at your own RISK.
WTools should not delete important Registry keys, Backup option is for extra safety.

Changelog:
- Fixed an issue causing loss of Firefox bookmarks.


Known issues:
- Registry backup is not working.

i see features like registry cleaner. as this is highly dangerous, does the program provide a preview, of what it is going to do, for manual assessment, before a change is made?

...actually i run it and i see there is something like that.

...looks like a nice program. it will be nicer, if it tells the layman, why it does what it does. like a 1 sentence short explanation. like answering the question: "Why would i do that?", "why would i delete this regkey?", "why switch gpu to msi mode?", ... . but of course this 1 sentence must be reasonable and informative enough, not like: "because i think so", "some guy said so", "it works for me", ...

...i see some of the features have that "?" bubble. this post becomes more and more pointless

Yes, it will allow you to select what you want to be removed.

Nothing dangerous to delete since the keys point to what does not exist or no longer exists
The cleaner does the minimum, like that of CCleaner and we are far from the more agressive aspect of an Argente Registry cleaner, or JV16
