Intelligent standby list cleaner timer resolution bug 0,4959ms?

Hi guys,

I don't know why but I am having this issue lately (since months) and I don't know how to fix it.
My current windows timer on ISLC is showing as 0,4959ms instead of default one: 0,496ms

(I have tried to reinstall ISLC, download and extract it again and set up the settings manually again, nothing works)

Anybody knows what could be the issue? I haven't done anything on cmd to have it on 0,5 or so (and I'm not interested).
Windows 10 22H2 Pro version. Installed w/ default settings.

I hope someone can have an idea

Thank you guys.

It's not really an issue, some system report it this way or this sometime happen if you added some entries to the BCDEDIT

I didn't add any entries to BCDEDIT, windows is installed default with no modifications... It is weird all of my friends have it on 0,496.

I get a similar result; the software launches and stays active but doesn't show an icon in the system tray.

The reason why your ISLC windows timer is showing as 0.4959ms instead of 0.496ms is because of a bug in Windows 10 22H2. This bug affects the way that Windows calculates the timer resolution.

There are two ways to fix this issue:

- You can downgrade to Windows 10 21H2.
- You can use a third-party tool to set the timer resolution manually.

If you do not want to downgrade to Windows 10 21H2, you can use the following steps to set the timer resolution manually:

- Download and extract the RMClock utility.
- Run the RMClock utility.
- In the RMClock utility, click on the "Timer" tab.
- In the "Timer Resolution" section, change the resolution to "0.496ms".
- Click on the "OK" button.

This will set the timer resolution to 0.496ms. You will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Please note that there is a risk of instability when setting the timer resolution manually. It is important to test the stability of your computer after making the change.

I hope this helps!
