I was recently introduced to DDU since i have been encountering random restarts/crashes while using my pc and i figured that the issue lied with my GPU driver (i'm using a GTX 970 with the latest driver from the Nvidia app).

I tried installing the latest DDU version but it wouldn't launch or start up or show any windows, i followed all the steps (installing it on my C drive, downloading a .NET Framework version that is higher than 3.0, launching in safe mode), the only solution that worked for me was opting to install an older DDU version (v18.0.8.0) which seemed to launch just fine.

However when i started the cleanup i got this error and was told to send it to the developer :

I would really appreciate any help on this, it has been such a nightmare trying to fix this issue, thanks in advance.

I see, so is there a specific version of .Net Framework that you recommend installing?

And if so, is there a specific website to install it from? and do i have to uninstall older .Net Framework versions when installing a newer one or does it not make a difference?
