Requested registry access is not allowed error

Long time user, first time writer, here. This is the first time I've used DDU in a while (I wanna say about eight months or so?), and I wanted to update my graphics driver, since I haven't for over a year. When I tried to clean it for a fresh install, a message popped up after using the "Clean and restart" option for my Nvidia 4080 Laptop GPU in Safe Mode.
Apparently, it did happen to uninstall the drivers in question, since my display driver fell back to the Microsoft Basic Display Driver after rebooting, before automatically reinstalling the base Nvidia 551.88 driver shortly after connecting to the internet.
Log files are included below:

Any help would be beneficial! Thanks a bunch in advance!

Thanks for your report. I'll check this in the following days and I'll report back.
Edit: I found an issue with the latest DDU that could generate this crash. It can happen when a specific region in the registry has an unexpected permission. Still DDU should be able to ignore it and continue. This will be fix with a release later today.
Edit2: Update released 18.1.3.3

Thanks so much for the addressing this quickly! I tried the cleanup again with the new update, but unfortunately, I ended up with another, different error message.
Similar situation happened after reboot, display driver fell back to Microsoft Basic Display Driver before Nvidia 551.88 driver was automatically reinstalled through the internet.
I've added the new log files to the previously posted link. Thanks again in advance!

Thanks, I know what is wrong. I'll fix this asap and possibly release the update today.
Very sorry for the inconvenience. It's not something I could repro on my end so I am fixing this with the help of your log and screenshot.
Edit: according to the logs, the entry that caused issue is this service : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsoSvc
The permission are probably wrong / not standard , so DDU fail on it.
I'll fix the remaining issue of DDU for when it encounter such a problem.
Edit: Update is out 18.1.3.4

No worries! I really appreciate you being so quick with these fixes!
That did it! Was able to clean and uninstall the graphics driver without any errors or issues! Again, thanks so much for your help!
