Need to DDU for old ATI Radeon HD 5870?
Hello, this will be my first time using DDU. I'll be replacing an old ATI Radeon HD 5870 on a AMD X570 PC with a 5700 XT. I was wondering is DDU still used for GPU's that old? Would it be necessary? Thanks for any help.

Hi, yes DDU can work with this GPU. As for if it is necessary, the answer is the same for all GPUs, it depends if you have problems that could be related to old driver or if you simply want to keep it clean each time.ryunohige7 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 4:49 pm Hello, this will be my first time using DDU. DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) is a popular utility used to remove display drivers from a computer system. It is often recommended for performing a clean uninstallation of GPU drivers, particularly when troubleshooting issues or when upgrading to a newer GPU.
