- *** Please note that turning OFF Vsync will tax your GPU a lot because it will throw 1k+ FPS. I will add a FPS limit later but for now use with caution at your own risk. ***

What exactly is supposed to happen? it went by the screen smooth a silk. 240fps fullscreen and windowed. and just as smooth when I pressed v and turned off vsync.. smoooooth. over 10k fps. So I guess I don't have any stutter then?

Yeah there was anormal stutter with vsync in windowed
mode that could be seen visually but Not necessarily with monitoring tools.
I know this doesn't affect my system anymore , so seems like nvidia fixed the issue but I don't know exactly when they fixed it as I recover from a heart attack that I had at the beginning of May, so I didn't check a lot
The author has provided system requirements and important information about known issues, as well as how to financially support the project. Nice to see support from backers and suggestions for tools that might be helpful.
The Stutter Test looks like a very handy utility for troubleshooting smoothness issues across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel GPUs. Thanks for making it portable and lightweight, and also for the transparency about known issues like the uncapped FPS when V-Sync is off. Looking forward to future updates with FPS limiting and more refinements. Big respect to the patrons and community who help keep projects like this alive!

Yeah, the Stutter Test is a lifesaver for tracking down smoothness issues! It’s pretty wild how something so simple can really highlight where things are going off-track. I'm glad you’re appreciating the portability and transparency—it really does make a difference when you can quickly get to the root of a problem without all the fluff.

Thanks for sharing The new Wagnardsoft Stutter Test looks like a useful addition for people trying to diagnose frame pacing and micro-stutter issues, especially on modern systems with NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel GPUs. The warning about V-Sync being off is important though—running uncapped FPS can heavily stress the GPU and may not reflect real-world performance. It will be interesting to see future updates, especially if they add an FPS limiter and more detailed analysis features for stability testing.
