feature Request
extra Option to clear standby list if it goes over a certain threshhold
example
clear standby list if

list size is at least X
AND
Free memory is less than X
OR
Listsize is X

this way the standby list never grows untill the point the system runs low on memory and it allows the user to set a hard limiter on how large the standby list can get
a nice to have might be per process rules
so if I whitelist a process but still want the cache cleared (e.g a game that uses large ammounts of memory) I can do that by setting the rules

I found a link to this tool in a Youtube video with instructions to use these cmd commands:
bcdedit /set useplatformtick yes
bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes
bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock

It says to revert back, use these:
bcdedit /set useplatformclock true
bcdedit /set useplatformtick no
bcdedit /set disabledynamictick no

I unchecked everything in ISLC and used those commands but now Windows 10 is lagging like crazy, as it was before I used those commands and Current timer resolution was 0.5, as it was advised to set it in that video. So, with the commands that should revert everything and ISLC tool not running after a reboot, Windows 10 are unusable. Please help, how can I make it run normally as it was before using this tool?

The problem is not the tool but the commands you did.

Just do theses, reboot and enjoy ISLC.

first of all I want to say thank you for your amazing tools. Espec. DDU saved my arse so many times, when the old ATI / AMD drivers where playing bad jokes with my PC.

Now - I still really like to use DDU in some cases but focused actually on ISLC.

I searched & clicked a lot thru the forum but I can't find not on my life 2 informations I'm looking for:

#1.

My ISLC won't autostart with my Windows 10. I activated the program in taskmanager - so it should work? But it does'nt. Also with the "shell:startup" folder I copied the "Intelligent standby list cleaner ISLC.exe" - but it does not autostart.

Am I missing anything ?

(viewtopic.php?t=3835 <- this guy had the same problem - but the solutions there did not work for me)

Where can I find a simple and clean structured advice - how to setup a fresh ISLC for different scenarios ?
Of course I can use the advice p.e. "Panjno" gives on youtube, but tbh I wan't to double check the "recommended" settings straight from Wagnard.

When theses option are ticked, check it an entry for ISLC is added within the Task Scheduler.
