Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) is a driver removal tool that can help you completely remove AMD (ATI), NVIDIA and Intel graphics drivers.

I am replacing the Nivida graphics card with an MSI Armorx 580

Post by Spour1972 »

HI, I am replacing the Nivida graphics card with an MSI Armorx 580 Using DDU I want to get rid of my old drivers and saw the tutorial and find it confusing for selecting the options and other youtube videos say go with the defaults and I like to confirm which options I should select. especially when some options state "not recommended" and the tutorial seems to say to click or unclick the box if it's checked not sure and the rest of the boxes as well. I want the installation of the new card to be optimized. Can you please advise
p.s I don't want to lose my sound either
first time doing this
thank you

Hi,
You can tick all the Nvidia options (except the last one that state to keep the Control panel) since you are removing that card.
You can then use clean and shutdown and swap your cards.
