Hi

Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) is a driver removal tool that can help you completely remove AMD (ATI), NVIDIA and Intel graphics drivers.

Hi

Hi,

I was referred by Nvidia. I installed and ran DDU on my pc but it hangs at cleaning up the registry. I left it at this point for a few minutes before ending the task. Any guidance you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, did it end after you waited more?
If not, hit the close button and zip the ddu logs folder (located within the DDU folder) and email it to me at [email protected] I'll try to see what is causing your issues

Hi,
You can try disabling any antivirus or security software temporarily, as they can sometimes interfere. If that doesn’t help, try booting into Safe Mode and running DDU from there, as it tends to work more effectively in that environment. Hopefully, that should get it sorted!

Hi,
That usually happens when there's an issue with system permissions or background services interfering during registry cleanup. You can try running DDU in Safe Mode (recommended) and make sure no antivirus or background apps are running. Also, ensure you're using the latest version of DDU. Let us know if it still hangs — happy to help further.
