DDU not removing AMD leftovers in Safe Mode?

Post by Andoing »

First of all, thanks for providing such a great tool!

I recently ran DDU v18.0.7.1 in Safe Mode to clean my AMD GPU drivers before switching to NVIDIA. However, after rebooting, I still noticed some AMD-related registry entries and folders (like "C:\AMD") were left behind.

I followed the recommended procedure from your site:

Ran DDU in Safe Mode

Selected "Clean and restart"

Chose "GPU > AMD"

Is this normal? Should I delete these leftovers manually, or did I do something wrong during the process?

Hi,
Your DDU is quite out of date. Also for the AMD folder check the DDU options. Some are not activated by default.
