Hello everyone, I’m new here and hoping someone can help. A few days ago, I used DDU to completely remove my NVIDIA drivers while trying to fix a screen flickering issue on my dual-monitor setup. Unfortunately, the flickering problem is still happening, and now I’ve encountered another issue.
Whenever I restart my PC, it gets stuck on a black screen. Strangely, if I fully shut the computer down and power it back on manually, everything works normally again.
I’m using an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, and after using DDU I noticed that the Device Manager also shows the AMD integrated graphics as disabled. Since the system seems stable otherwise, I’m confused about why the NVIDIA display adapter fails specifically during restarts.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to fix this restart black screen issue?
Thanks in advance.

Probably the problem is not DDU itself but the new driver you installed that may have an issue.
Also,, you say you see a device disabled (AMD) in device manager , so with a little down arrow on it ?
Normally, if you want to disable the integrated card, it is better to do thing from the bios.
You can send me your DDU logs at [email protected] and I can give a quick look at it just in case.
