Network Adapters Missing After Running DDU

Post by eyecolorful »

I used DDU to remove my graphics drivers and restarted my PC afterward. Since then, both my Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections have stopped working because the network adapters seem to have disappeared. Device Manager either doesn't list them at all or shows an error message.

I've already tried reinstalling the network drivers manually, but the issue persists. Has anyone experienced something similar after using DDU? Any suggestions on how to restore the adapters and get my internet connection back?

Hi,
Does device manager list them or not ? Your message is a little confusing.
Also verify this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SafeBoot
Usually there is 2 subkey : "Minimal" and "Network". Do you see a third one named "Option" ?
If so, delete the subkey "Option" (ONLY THIS ONE). and reboot.

Also, if you can send me the DDU logs (located withing the DDU folder) at [email protected] I'll check if something went wrong.
