[BUG] “Set Windows Device Installation settings to Default and Close” button no longer hides

Post by przemo20 »

Hi there.

I would like to report a regression that seems to have been introduced in v18.1.5.7: the “Set Windows Device Installation settings to Default and Close” button in the “Launch option” window no longer hides after clicking on it.

Normally, after clicking this button and restarting DDU, the button should no longer be shown. However, since v18.1.5.7, it is still visible after restarting DDU. To hide it, you need to click on the “Set Windows Device Installation settings to Default (automatically install drivers)” button in the main program window.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Launch DDU
  2. Go into its settings, then switch to the Advanced tab
  3. Enable both options there (“Enable Safe Mode dialog (...)” and “Prevent downloads of drivers (...)”)
  4. Close and relaunch the app
  5. In the “Launch option” window, click on the “Set Windows Device Installation settings to Default and Close” button
  6. Launch DDU again
  7. The “Set Windows Device Installation settings to Default and Close” button is still visible in the “Launch option” window

Confirmed, thanks.
