Is there a way to detect that you killed it, then if so, display the dialog box after DDU is started?
You could even add a checkbox to say "Don't show this again".

Possibly, i'm still searching a way to make it work.Jacob Klein wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 11:10 am Is there a way to detect that you killed it, then if so, display the dialog box after DDU is started?

EDIT: I was able to add a message after DDU stared to warn that process like MSI Afterburner had to be closed.
This should be included in the next version.

Thanks, but i think I found a bug already
When I run with the setting I usually run, which is:
UNCHECKED: "Show Safe Mode message box on startup"
...I did NOT see any dialog indicating that MSI Afterburner was closed
Also, the message itself is pretty good. Might consider a small tweak:
From:
Please note that to be able to run DDU correctly, some process like (MSI Afterburner/RTSS) had to be killed.
To:
Note: DDU closed programs known to interfere (like MSI Afterburner and RTSS).

Works for me. If you are absolutely sure that you need to close those programs, then I appreciate the effort made to inform the user.
