[NVIDIA] DDU taking stuck at "Starting registry cleanup" on safe mode

I managed to make it work, seems it just doesn't work in normal mode, safe mode worked, though I got some strange notifications from windows about not being able to run something while the cleaning was happening. I had no issues after that, except for the fact that windows reinstalled the drivers right after they got cleaned (fixed it through the policies explorer).

The Program does Freeze and the only thing you can do is maximize and minimize it.
It even took several tries to end it with the task manager.
Could not find a workaround so far, does happen in all 3 modes, normal, safe and safe with connection.
System: Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 (64) - Nvidia Driver

Did you disabled the task scheduler service? If so, it could be the reason.

No I did not have it disabled, it was set at autostart.
However, I tried to manually start it and I got Error Code 1068.
So Task Scheduler was not able to start.

I did fix it by enabling the Windows Event Log Service and after a Restart the tool did work perfectly.

Thanks for the information, I'll see if I can do something within DDU for this.

I have fix the hang in DDU for the next version. (Should be available in a day or 2)
The issue is that you guys have the task scheduler(Service system name is 'Schedule' ) stopped / disabled and DDU will hang if it fail to start it for whatever reason.

I have fix the Hang that can happen if DDU fail to start it but that doesnt fix the fact that you guys have that service non functional and that it is required for good windows / driver operation. Also DDU wont be able to clean the task in task manager if the service is not running.
