It is not really clear what is the cause. But you can get an interesting reading about it in the last few pages of this forum thread https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/fix-g ... 09.420251/szopenn wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 7:26 am I changed my CPU from 2700X to 3700X and clean installed Windows 10. Now the issue has gone without ISLC. I start to wonder why I do no longer need ISLC ( of course, I am glad about it though). Is this Windows 10 issue randomly happening or targeting specific setups?

Just delete it.
You may have to remove it from Taskscheduler if you added it there.

Not sure if I need this at all? I have 7700k w/ 32gb ram, I have done all the CMD prompt with elevated admin. Everything is rrunning as it should after doing the CMD. But it is not cleaning my standby I boot into windows with around 3.2 gbs of cached memory the list does seem to be cleaning it. Is this because its set to 1gb on both purge conditions?
I can purge it ok and timer resolution seems to be working ok.

Hi, should the timer be reset when you click on the polling rate?(or is it a bug?)

. Net framework does change the timer on different Gui interaction. I'll check if I can do something about it. For the moment, just don't change the polling rate when you started islc.

and the timer works correctly and does not reset after setting the polling rate until cleaning starts
