Re: Used DDU, now can't install NVIDIA
This is because of windows update. To avoid that disconnect your internet in safe mode and only reconnect it when you have installed your new driverBITIDA wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 1:21 pmJust now, after about 5 minutes since rebooting from SafeMode and using DDU, Device Manager, which was sitting open, flashed and turned Display Adapter from something Generic, to NVIDIA GeForce GTX970. I tried running the NVIDIA installer again, but got some error. Maybe a couple more reboots are in order, but for now, I can't reinstall NVIDIA drivers!!Wagnard wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2017 12:50 pmI'll assist you via teamviewer.thosj wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2017 12:48 pm So..........used DDU on my z97 Core I7 4790K 970 GTX system Win 10 Home 64, after problems with Dirt Rally, It removed everything, seemingly, so AOK there. But...If I now run the Nvidia installer it says it can't find hardware!!

Re: [Fixed] Used DDU, now can't install NVIDIA
I'm having the identical problem. After DDU the GPU stays hidden in tool supervisor and isn't always detected via way of means of Nvidia installer... What is the fix? Already attempted updating motive force via tool supervisor and not anything changes. Originally used DDU because of BSOD (Driver energy kingdom failure) which became stopping me from putting in new drivers directly.
