Hello there.
When I have my ISLC running in the background it doesn't purge the standbylist by itself and I have to do it manually.
I have 32 GB of RAM. Set ISLC to free memory lower than 16GB. Set the list size is at least 1024MB.
Set it to start minimized and auto-monitor and launching it on user logon.
I do not enable the Custom Timer resolution since I don't like the feeling of it.
I have clicked on "start".
Can someone help me out here since I don't know what could be the issue?
ISLC doesn't purge by itself.

Post a screenshot of ISLC when you think it should purge the memory.ande9023 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 8:00 am Hello there.

Shouldn't it be purging here? Or am I misunderstanding something about the tool? Every time I am finished with a game of csgo there is about 6 GB to be freed up and it feels smoother when I do it. I would like if the tool would do it by itself and I didn't have to do it manually all the time.

No it should not because you still have 24GB of free memory and you set the option that the Purge will happen when you have less than 16000MB of memory.ande9023 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 9:55 am

If you change your 16000mb to 25000mb for example, it will purge.
But technically, I do not recommend purging that often but if you fell it's better on your system, do what is better for you

Ah alright. Any downsides or risks to purging more often?

I don't think there is a risk, the downside is that when you purge it, some apps or games that might benefit from it won't. (ex: if the data is already in memory, it will load faster. But if it is purged, it will have to load again.)
Purging also take a little CPU work to do too.
