My cpu = AMD ryzen 5 2600x overclocked to 4ghz

This was a thread i found a while ago,

-----
It is the frequency the ISLC will check the memory status.
Lower mean that ISLC will eat a little bit more CPU but will have more accurate/real-time information of the memory.

If ISLC does it job correctly at 500ms than leave it like that. If you feel it eat too much CPU , set it higher.
-----

Now im wondering wouldnt 10000 be the best polling rate cause its the one that eats lets cpu? but also in that comment it says that lower the polling rate the more accurate/real-time the information of the memory ( can u please explain this last part? )

My question is would it be better to have lower polling rate to have more accurate/real-time information but higher cpu usage or the opposite?

And also are the settings for 16gb ram correct? There is alot of misinformation about this, alot of people say to set it to half the ram you have, so if u have 16gb u set it to 1024 and 8192...i have it set to 1024 and 524 so that it basically clears the memory only when its needed, thats the correct way right?

Your settings seems good.
For polling, it depends on you. if you set 10000 polling, it may take 10 seconds for ISLC to start the purge. So you may have 0 memory left at that moment. It depends of your needs.

It's definitely worth looking into. Each device type has a range of values. Setting ISLC to 1024 and 524 to only clear memory when needed might be a good idea. This helps keep memory managed efficiently without having to clear data too often.
