Hello,
I've encountered an issue with the latest version of DDU, v18.0.6.9. About a week ago, I was working on an Asus Z490-E system with an i9-10850K processor. I had it set up on a motherboard box for testing GPUs I purchased used. My last GPU was an Nvidia model, but I needed to test an AMD GPU, so I tried running DDU to remove all Nvidia-related files.
When I double-clicked the executable, I received the UAC notification and clicked "Next," but DDU failed to launch. I attempted this several times without success. I even booted into Safe Mode, but the same issue occurred. Eventually, I gave up and installed the AMD GPU, which I tested with the latest AMD Adrenalin driver, and everything worked fine.
A few days later, I decided to try DDU again, this time without any discrete GPU, relying solely on the Intel iGPU. Unfortunately, it still wouldn't run. I checked the guru3D forums for any related discussions but found nothing.
I then tried running DDU on multiple systems, but the same problem persisted across all of them. I tested my daily driver and encountered the same issue. However, on another build with a Z790/i7-13700K that still had v18.0.6.7, DDU worked without a hitch.
As I was typing this post on my daily driver, I decided to launch DDU again, and this time it started successfully.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with DDU version 18.0.6.9?

Re: DDU run issue
Your DDU version is way too old. Update to latest and try againgrantpen wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 4:53 am Hello,
