Will DDU Support Automatic Cleanup of Driver-Related Services in the Future?

Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) is a driver removal tool that can help you completely remove AMD (ATI), NVIDIA and Intel graphics drivers.

Will DDU Support Automatic Cleanup of Driver-Related Services in the Future?

Post by lyly19 »

Hi Wagnard team,
First, thank you for providing such a reliable tool over the years!

I’m wondering if there are any plans to add a feature that automatically detects and removes leftover driver-related services (e.g., NVIDIA Display Container LS, AMD external events services) after uninstalling drivers. Currently, I manually clean these up after using DDU.

Such a feature could help ensure an immaculate system state before installing new drivers.
Is this something that might be considered in future versions?

Thanks again for your amazing work!

Thanks for the kind words,
For now there is no such project. But I'm not closed to the idea to explore that.
