Feedback and Questions about Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and Windows 11 Updates

Post by katyperry »

Hello Wagnard team and community,

First, I want to say thank you for maintaining Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)—it’s been an essential tool for keeping my system clean after GPU driver updates.

Recently, I noticed that after the latest Windows 11 cumulative update, my NVIDIA driver reinstall sometimes leaves behind a few registry entries even after running DDU in Safe Mode. Has anyone else experienced this?

Here’s my current setup:

OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070

DDU version: 18.0.8.9

I’d love to hear whether this might be related to new Windows driver protection changes or if there’s a recommended additional cleanup step.
Also, thank you again for continuing to support ISLC and the new utilities. They make a real difference for gamers and power users!

Can you give me more details about theses registry entries so I can give a look at them ?
