Why does DDU remove monitor drivers?

Why does DDU remove monitor drivers?
Why does DDU do this? Is their a rationale behind it? Every single time I use it to upgrade my NVIDIA drivers, I have to install my monitor's INF file and it's annoying.

BUT
there is an option to prevent this in the DDU options. Simply uncheck it

Oh ok! I checked the options yesterday for that and I totally missed it!
