How to preserve settings when updating the portable edition?
Every time I download a new portable edition I have to launch DDU and reconfigure the settings. What file can I copy from the old folder to retain the settings but have DDU updated?

You can avoid the reconfiguration every time by ticking the option "Store config in roaming folder".
But to answer your question directly, its the Settings.xml file in the settings folder.

After a clean DDU run, I’d install the latest WHQL drivers directly from the GPU vendor site and reboot before touching any overclocking tools. Also worth checking Windows Update isn’t silently pushing an older driver over the top. In hospitality, we have to think about liability the same way people study for smart serve—clean steps so you know exactly what changed.
