Thanks for the reply, Wagnard!
The thing is, I still want to use the "remove monitors" feature to clear out old ghost monitors I just don't want it to reset my Windows display scaling at the same time.
That's why having a separate option to toggle the scaling reset on/off during monitor cleanup would be awesome.

Awesome! Thank you so much, Wagnard, really appreciate your fast response and work on this!
Thanks for the feedback! Done for the next version: the display scale reset is now a separate option under “Remove present and non-present monitors”, and it is off by default, so your custom scaling is kept when monitors are cleaned.

You could tick the option to remove the c:\amd . It will take care of that, but not sure if this can cause problem for the chipset.
The thing is, I have that setting ticked (remove the c:\amd), but the mentioned leftover ("C:\AMD\Chipset_Software\Logs\Chipset_Dll.log") always remains. The other folders are removed fine.
I cannot say if removing it may cause any issues for systems with an AMD Chipset, as I have an Intel Chipset (Z690, i9-12900K). On my end, manually removing it seems pretty safe.
Can you verify in the DDU logs or send it to me so we can see if DDU actually removed the folder or failed for whatever reason.
